My First Visit
On your first visit, in addition to a consultation with Dr. Shults, you can expect to receive:
- Dental exam with x-rays
- Periodontal screening
- Dental caries (cavities) screening
- Oral cancer screening
To prepare:To make your visit as efficient as possible, please take a few minutes prior to arriving to fill out your patient forms online. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact a front desk team member, or ask them when you arrive.
Please note:Your first consultation is intended as both an assessment of your dental health, and for you to get to know Dr. Shults and our team. We encourage you to ask questions and express your concerns. Part of getting to know you and providing safe, personalized support involves reviewing your medical history. Certain medical conditions and medications can influence your treatment protocols, so you will be asked to provide a full list of your medications and their dosages (including vitamins and supplements).

Insurance:
We are in-network with most PPO dental insurance plans, and we will help you maximize your insurance benefits. We are happy to file a claim with any insurance company on your behalf. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
